Driffield Methodist Church

Pastoral support During the Corona Virus Pandemic

During this time of social isolation the Pastoral Support team will endeavour to maintain contact with all Church Members by telephone, Skype, or email. There will not be any home visits made at this time. As the Pastoral Support Secretary, I have tried to ensure that every Church Member has sight of a copy of the DMW each week and I thank all those who have volunteered to put these through letterboxes. If you have a need which you feel a member of the Pastoral team may be able to help with please contact your visitor in the first instance and we will discuss the best way forward with whatever that might be. As a member of the Church family please can I ask that you pray for one another, contact one another regularly, especially if you are aware of individuals living alone or ill. That phone call may be a lifeline for someone who is feeling lonely and isolated.

Also please pray for those affected by the virus around the world including those living in densely populated areas where the virus has the potential to spread rapidly causing devastation to their communities.

Take care, keep safe and keep well and I will look forward to seeing you all in V+Church once this crisis has passed

With love to all,
