Church Garden and Prayer Garden
We have a lovely garden in which you can enjoy some peace and quiet at any time. It was created as part of our re-development using grants to benefit the community. It was designed by a member of our Church who qualified at Bishop Burton College. It is an all-access garden, as is the new Church building.
In the Prayer Garden there are Guides to the different areas of the garden. Enjoy it! Here are some images of it's development:

If you wish to see the development of the garden as part of the rebuild, as well as the later achievements and future aspirations of the garden space, then see below for a full history and report by the Garden Committee:

A recent meeting considered the future development of the Schoolroom Garden (see below) that will be an all inclusive Community Garden. This exciting development, referred to in the Management Plan (above) encourages participation from anyone. Just get in touch through the Contact Form.
The "new" raised bed, built to replace one that was hit by a car! This has recessed legs that should protect it from similar damage. Made from recycled wood that was a back door! Now planted up, including a clematis to climb the bedstead!

RSPB Bird Count 2025 in the church garden. This is a considerable increase on previous figures and all thanks to attracting the birds with the feeders.
